Rob Dickie: Barley Marketing Manager, CBH Grain

Rob is responsible for grain marketing roles for over 8 years. He is currently responsible for both feed and malting barley into a number of domestic and export markets, including the key markets of China, Japan, Korea, Taiwan and the Middle East. Previously, he has marketed canola, lupins, oats and wheat internationally with Grainpool and CBH Grain.

Board Member since 2010.

Gary Hughes: Executive Manager Malt, Viterra Ltd

Gary has responsibility for the malting operations of Viterra Malt. Viterra is Australia’s largest malting company, with malting operations across Australia. Gary has had more than 20 years in the malting industry. Previously, he held senior management and operation positions with Adelaide Malting Company and Joe White Maltings.

Board Member since 2007.

Trevor Perryman: Managing Director, Malteurop Australia and New Zealand

Trevor is a qualified brewer and has been in the brewing and malting industry for 20 years. He has held various production and management roles in the malting industry and was appointed as Managing Director at Malteurop Australia/New Zealand in 2002.

Board Member since 2007.

Paul Rigoni: General Manager-Technical Barrett Burston Pty Ltd

Paul has over 25 years in the malting industry with Barrett Burston Malting Company and has held various production and technical positions during this time. In his current role, Paul has overall responsibility for Barrett Burston’s technical functions.

Board Member since 2006.

Peter Roberts: Western Panel, GRDC

Peter has been a barley grower for 33 years. He was also Chairman of South East Premium Wheatgrowers Association 2003-2005, a Member of Western Malting Barley Council since 2005, Deputy Chair WMBC 2009-2010, Standards Committee member GIWA representing barley 2009-2010, and is currently the Western Panel Chairman GRDC.

Board Member since 2010.

John Stuart: Quality Services Manager Graincorp Operations

John has had over 30 years in the Australian barley industry in malting, quality and marketing. John has been on various wheat, coarse grain and oilseed committees over many years and currently works with Graincorp in a quality services capacity.

Board Member since 2008.

Andrew Gee: Executive Chairman

Andrew has had 20 years experience in the malting industry, with Joe White Maltings and more recently as a consultant. Previously a Board Member of Barley Australia 2005-2007.
